As a trainer, Elsabe uses natural and gentle communication when training horses to move off pressure. She takes time with each horse as an individual, building a relationship of trust and mutual respect on the ground and under the saddle. This means helping the horse to be confident, trusting, flexible, and willing to do what is expected. By giving each horse a strong foundation, they are prepared for life, whether it is as a performance horse, ranch/cow horse, trail horse or family horse.

Horses will be used on the ranch depending on time of the year. Trailing, sorting & checking cattle. Your horse will be exposed to the ranch life. Elsabe like them to be handy on the ranch and fancy in the arena. Being versatile is the ultimate goal. She believes in conditioning horses. Each horse will learn exercises on the ground and in saddle to find their balance (Leg yields, two tracks, haunches in, haunches out, lead departures, and more)

SERVICES: Colt Starting, Tune ups, Putting miles on broke horses. All horses will be rode outside of an arena around cattle getting exposed  to creeks, hills, deer and pheasants. They will also go through artificial obstacles in the arena & learn to open and close gates, drag logs, tarps etc. They will also be brought with to my Horsemanship clinics and used as demo horses.

“The horse is so honest.... they live in the moment. And what they do, whether they need to protect themselves or whether they need to accept you really is directly relative to how you make them feel." - Buck Brannaman
